My Skincare Routine for Dry/Acne Prone Skin

Hey Guys!

I'm back with my skincare routine. I've been getting a lot of questions on my skin care and what I do to maintain it. My skin hasn't always been the best, I definitely have to work for good skin. I try to maintain a good and solid routine.

Before you read this, everyone's skin is DIFFERENT. What works for me may not work for everyone. These are just products I use that help my skin stay clean, smooth & hydrated.

So after a long day I take off my makeup (If I'm wearing any) and I start out with the black bar in the middle which is the Shea Moisture Black Soap for acne prone skin. I LOVE this soap. It gets my skin really clean and removes all the dirt and build up from the day. It's also natural I've noticed that using organic and natural products work best for my skin.

Next, I switch between the St Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub and the St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. Both are really great products. I've been using the Apricot scrub since forever and I feel like everyone has tried it at least once. If I feel like I need to get rid of dead skin and excoriate, I'll use the Apricot scrub but if I'm experiencing a lot of dark spots, blackheads and red marks, I'll use the Green Tea scrub.

If I feel like my skin needs a little more TLC, I'll use a face mask. I love Lush face masks, they're all natural and have a specific mask for every skin type. I feel like everyone has used the Mask Of Magnaminty, its literally my life saver. It's has mint in it leaving your skin super refreshing and hydrated. I feel like it gets down in your pores and gets rid of all the dirt and oil buildup.

After I leave my mask on for like 15 minutes, I spray a toner on my face. I use the Eau Roma Water toner from Lush (I've had it forever its peeling off). Its really refreshing, it has lavender and rose water in it which cools irritations and keeps illuminates redness to soothe the skin.

Lastly I apply a small amount of coconut oil. I use coconut oil for everything, my hair, skin, shaving you name it, Its a natural moisturizer and really hydrating. I wouldn't recommend it for people with oily skin, and only apply a small amount. Too much excessive oil causes breakouts.
