The Perfect Trench
Happy Thursday!
I feel like I haven't done an OOTD for my blog in a long time. To be honest, I've been wearing sweats most of the time and I have so many assignments due in so little time, whenever I'm finished with one assignment, something else always pops out out of nowhere.
I decided to take advantage of the semi-warm weather we've been having in NYC lately and wore my trench coat with an all black outfit with my platform boots. These boots along with my fur slides (in another post) are my staple shoes for the fall.
I got a lot of looks today, I guess it was because of my high 5 inch platform boots. I got a comment that really made me think, it was like "who are you looking good for?" And I'm just wondering to myself, why do I actually have to look good for a certain someone? Can't I just look nice and put together for myself? Does there always have to be a reason? There's nothing wrong with getting a little dressed up once in a while for yourself.
Not ranting, but just pointing out something everyone should know.
