My 2018 Winter Essentials!

Some of these products I mentioned in a pervious skincare routine I wrote a couple months ago that can be viewed here. My routine hasn't really changed.

Dove BodyWash (CVS, $8.99)- Everyone knows I only use Dove when it comes to body wash, I just feel like its super clean. It's on the expensive side for body washes but I try to always find them in bulk at Target.

Shea Moisture Black Soap- I mentioned this product in a my skincare post. I believe a lot of people find black soap helpful for the acne so I don't need to rage about it, but this gets rid of all my breakouts.

Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Target, $7.99)- This was mentioned in my skincare post as well. I like to buy the 'organic extra virgin' coconut oil from target so I know its at the healthiest and purest form so I can reap in the benefits of ultimate moisture. I also just use coconut oil to shave which is a cheaper alternative to shaving cream.

CURLS Liquid Vitamin- Now, I've only used this vitamin for about three weeks so I can't give a full review on it yet, but I have noticed my nails growing fast and my hair is shinier & thicker. I just cut about two inches off of my hair so if I did grow anything I wouldn't have noticed. For the winter, I'm always focused on moisture because my hair can get really dry in the winter months. I figured since I cut my hair and I'm focused on moisture to enhance growth, I can see what my hair is looking like come the spring/summer months.

Mario Bedescu Facial Spray- I've also mentioned this spray in my skincare routine. My skin gets really dry along with my hair in the cooler months, I spray this on after I wash my face with the black soap & it leaves a refreshing and soothing feeling on my face.

Shea Moisture Scrub- This is the first winter where I have consistenly used a body scrub paired with lotion and oh my goodness, I feel like I've been living my life wrong this whole time. it gets rid of all the dead/dry skin. I pair it with my vaseline lotion an coconut oil and it makes my skin feel soooooo soft. This is the second Shea Moisture scrub, the first was the Fruit Fusion one which is also a great one.

'Pure White Cotton' candle- my FAVORITE & ONLY candle I like. It has a fresh and clean scent, like clean linens or laundry, that just make any room smell perfect. I love lighting candles in the winter, it just gives it a real comforting vibe to any space.

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Lotion- I've seen many people use this lotion so when I was looking for a new winter lotion I automatically chose this one. I apply the lotion after I shower an apply my scrub & coconut oil and my skin is silky smooth. I use it as a face moisturizer too and it works really well for dry skin.

Hope this helps you deciding products or ways to tackle the harsh winter cold.

xo, Ash
