February 2018 Favs!
Hey Everyone!
I know this post is up a little bit late, we're almost 2 weeks into March (lol). But, these are the products I've been loving for the month of February. I have a mixture of hair, skincare, makeup and jewelry to show you all. Several of these products I've used before in the past but I just recently tried them again and I still love them. What were your favorite things you used in February? Let me know in the comments below! Scroll below to see my February favorites.
February Favs:
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay- I used to use this just for my hair to clarify it usually once a month when I actually clean and shampoo by hair. I usually co-wash it. I recently started using it as a face mask and OMG it makes my skin feel so clean after I wash it off. I feel like everyone has heard of this clay mask. I usually mix water with the powder, but I heard you can use apple cider vinegar with it. I feels like it really gets in my skin to get all the dirt out, I love it.
Deva Curl B'Leave In- I love Deva Curl products, they're just so expensive. But I'm obsessed with their 'Heaven In Hair' deep conditioner and I've also heard great things about the b'leave in conditioner and I had to invest and give it a try. I love it! It clumps my curls and makes them so define. It gives me a really nice and define wash and go.
Nubian Eyeshadow Palette by Juvia's Place- I bought this palette so long ago and I recently just used it. I figured this palette is a nice nude and everyday palette that can go with many different looks. The colors are really pigmented and last all day.
Faux Cartier bracelets & ring - I wasn't about to spend my whole tuition money on one Cartier bracelet. That's insane. I've wanted one for years now so I bought replicates on Amazon for WAY cheaper than the retail price. They literally look the same and I love them. They're great to wear everyday with any look.
MAC 'Russian Red'- I used to use Russian Red back in high school, this is my favorite red lipstick ever. It's a cool tone red, and I feel like anyone can wear this color. It's just a nice classic red lip.
Aussie Mega Moist Conditioner- I've been using Aussie for my hair forever. I just recently started using the conditioner again because I didn't wanna spend a lot of money on a conditioner because I go through conditioner like its nothing, I have so much thick hair. It provides great slip, really moisturizing and clumps my curls together. If you're a curly girl and have never tried this conditioner, you're doing something wrong.
As I Am Twist Defining Cream- One of my coworkers recommended this to me. I really wanted to try doing more braid outs only because my hair was getting really tangled from wash and go's and I wanted to change up my hair style a little. I use the defining cream after I put my leave in & oil in then braid my hair up. I loved it. My first time doing a braid out went so well. My hair was shiny, defined and moisturized.
Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker- My coworker gave me this product to try since it didn't work for her and she watched someone on YouTube with my hair type that liked the product so she figured it would work for me. I've also never used a gel styler before but when I used it for me curls, OMG they came of sooooo defined and shiny. It literally is a curl maker and smells so good. This is now my new favorite styling product to use.
Vanity Planet Spin Brush- I've seen everyone on instagram and Youtube with the spin brush I didn't know if it actually really worked. Then I saw my best friend have it and she loved it so I had to try it. I'm an avid Groupon-er and when I saw it for $20 on Groupon I had to get it. It usually retails for almost $40. When I used it the first time, I can see why everyone likes it. It really gets in your skin for a deeper cleaning than just your hands. It also comes with three brushes depending on your skin's needs. I definitely recommend it.
Those are all my favorites for the month of February. Was there a product you wanted to try out? What were your favorite products this month? Let me know in the comments below.
