Layering With Leather + Life Update!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

The weather is finally starting to break in NYC, I think I can finally put my heavy winter jacket away. I'm so glad its getting warmer. That's how you know we are in full swing with ARIES season (4/11) okayyyy!

I know I'm not the only person who doesn't wear everything from their closet. I literally probably wear the same 10 things in rotation (lol). I finally pulled out these leather pants from Zara I've been saying to wear and thought it would look cute with these boots with faux pearls I recently purchased. Paired it with my cream oversized sweater and my favorite winter coat. I've featured this coat probably too many times already, can't blame me.

And yes, I'm rocking another braid out that came out poppin'. I've been doing a lot of braid outs recently mainly because my hair was getting too knotted up from my wash & go's. So far they've been coming out pretty well, you can view my braid out routine as well.

Midterms are finally over but I'm still slammed with a lot of school work. I'm also working on studying abroad in England this summer. I've been applying to a lot of scholarships to fund my trip. I also started a GoFundMe page telling my story and describing what I'll be doing on my trip which you can view.

In between working, school and maintaining a social life, I have very little time for anything. I recently got accepted to a mentorship program sponsored by L'Oreal and the 100 Black Women Coalition which I will be mentored by someone in my field of study during my spring break. I would love to be on someone's beach relaxing, but I can relax when I'm rich I guess.
